At the Frontier Camel Farm you can learn all about camels in Australia, from their physiology to their personality. There are short camel rides available as well as a camel ramble where you ride along the Todd River. You can also book a camel safari which includes dinner and breakfast. There is a museum of cameleering equipment, historical photographs and memorabilia.

Location: The Frontier Camel Farm is on the Ross Highway, south-east of Alice Springs, across the Heavitree Gap causeway, or the John Blakeman Bridge.
